It’s About Time
Well, Tony Stewart finally did it. Stewart took the checkers at Sunday’s Chicagoland Speedway and won the USG Sheetrock 400. It was his first win in 20 races and his 30th career victory.
Maybe it was Joe Gibbs’ pep talk on Saturday to Stewart and his teammate Denny Hamlin that set him straight. Gibbs showed up at Chicago to settle the tiff between the two drivers that started last week when the two took each other out of the race at Daytona on the 14th lap.
The NASCAR bunch get this week off and will return in two weeks at Indianapolis for the Brickyard 400.
Till the next Pit Stop…..
