Michigan this weekend
NASCAR will be at Michigan international Speedway this weekend for the 3M Performance 400. The track is a 2 mile oval and is one of the faster tracks on the circuit. The only thing is the lower the yellows means for a long drawn out race and boring for the fans. The good thing is that besides the track being fast, it also allows three and even four wide passing. Also fuel milage may play apart in the finish.
The favorites used to be anyone from Fenway Rousch Racing, but this year and the COT have stifled them it seems. But I am not counting out Carl Edwards or Matt Kenseth. Also look for the regulars Gordon, Johnson and Stewart.
Till the next Pit Stop…..

I’m looking forward to watching this race. I love going to MIS. It’s a great place to be, especially during a NASCAR race. Do you think one of the regulars will win (Gordon, Stewart, etc.) or is it time for Earnhardt Jr. to get it in gear and win one this week?

Thanks for the comment D and sorry for the delay.
The atmosphere at MIS is awesome. I used to have Pit Terrace tickets until they took them out and have not buckled down to pay the higher price for different seats. I really liked those PT seats.
As far as winning the race, you got the big 3(Stewart, Gordon and Johnson) and Rousch Racing has always done great there until the COT. But don’t count out Kenseth or Edwards either. Fuel milage also plays a big part a MIS and you never know, you may have a fuel mizer like Jeremy Mayfield win it like he did a couple of years back.
Talk to you soon,
Scott
